The Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia (ADCA) is the peak, national, non-government organisation representing the interests of the Australian alcohol and other drugs sector, providing a national voice for people working to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and other drugs.
Drug and Alcohol Multicultural Education Office (DAMEC)
DAMEC's primary focus is to bridge the service gap by assisting and supporting Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (AT&OD) service providers to make a difference to the way they access and service Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (C&LD) clients.
DrugInfo
Druginfo is the official NSW Government website on drug issues. It outlines Government policies on drugs including factsheets on illicit drugs, information on legal issues, plus information on the role of parents, families, and the broader community in reducing drug abuse
National Comorbidity Initiative
The Australian Government’s National Comorbidity Initiative aims to improve service co-ordination and treatment outcomes for people with coexisting mental health and substance use disorders.
National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC)
Located at the University of New South Wales, NDARC conducts research and related activities that increases the effectiveness of Australian and International treatment and other intervention responses to alcohol and other drug related harm.
National Drug Sector Information Service (NDSIS)
NDSIS is a service of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Council of Australia. It supports those who work to prevent or reduce the harm to individuals, families, communities and the nation caused by alcohol and other drugs. It identifies and disseminates information to meet the needs of AOD professionals, practitioners and researchers.
