Una’s responsibilities include training on cross cultural issues in problem gambling to mainstream problem gambling services and CALD communities; promoting ‘Responsible Gambling’ and MPGS through media (ethnic newspapers and radio) and community development activities; accepting referrals from service providers, provision of specialist clinical and cross-cultural consultancy and advise; supportive counselling for the family members of problem gamblers, liaising with other RGF services (financial counselling and legal aid), face to face/ telephone counselling for problem gamblers in six different languages.

Ranya is responsible for identifying the professional development needs of MPGS sessional counsellors; developing an annual Training and Supervision calendar for MPGS sessional counsellors; providing professional support and resources to sessional counsellors ( e.g. courses/ conferences / latest research on gambling) and organising Cross Cultural training sessions for mainstream gambling services.
