Adolescents and Young People

TMHC’s Adolescent and Young People's Program focuses on the mental health needs of young people from CALD backgrounds between the ages of 12 and 24.

CALD young people may experience a range of unique mental health issues related to culture, their role as cultural and linguistic intermediaries between their families and Australian society and traumatic experiences.

TMHC’s Adolescent and Young People Program aims to promote understanding and recognition of mental health issues and encourage help seeking behaviours amongst CALD young people. The project provides a range of opportunities for young people to express their thoughts and feelings about issues that impact on their daily lives.
