The focus of this report is women from non-English speaking backgrounds with disabilities who work in Business Services across NSW. Through a series of interviews and focus groups with management, staff and employees, the report provides an insight into the issues women experience in some Business Services. The project identified the need for support of women workers to participate in the decision-making processes within their organisation and the need for rights-based education in participation and staff and management training. From an analysis of the data, training recommendations were developed and then used as a basis for the development and piloting of a model of training for staff, management and employees in the area of cultural difference/diversity.
